Frisee in multiple colors

Frisee is available in green or red.

Cleaning and storage

Remove the leaves from the crop and tear them into pieces after washing and drying. Preferably do not cut them, because then the curly effect is lost. Frisee produce can be kept for two to three days in the refrigerator. Store it in an open plastic bag.

Preparation method

In principle, frisee is only eaten raw, for example in salads or stews.

Frisee is available sliced and as root ball lettuce.
